The Ninth Harbin Ice and Snow World, with the theme "Snow World, Olympic Dreams" opened to public on December 23.

This year's park features ice and snow sculptures based on the Olympic Games. The layout was similar to that of an Olympic venue, with visiting routes shaped like athletic tracks, China National Radio reported.

The snow world, covering an area of 40 hectares and composed of 100,000 cubic meters of ice, can hold a maximum of 50,000 people.
