HK's visitor arrivals up 18%
Adjust font size:

Hong Kong's visitor arrivals rose 18 percent to 2.45 million last month, a record for November, bringing tourist numbers so far this year to more than the whole of 2006, a city government agency said yesterday.

The number of arrivals for the first 11 months of 2007 was 25.4 million, compared with 25.3 million in all of last year, driven by increases in arrivals from places such as the Chinese mainland, South Korea and the Philippines.
