Mouse is king

A giant Mouse King lantern will feature at this year's lantern temple fair during the Spring Festival at the Yuyuan Garden.

 

The lantern will be 4.5 meters high and situated in the garden's central square to mark the Year of Mouse.

 

This year's temple fair will start on February 7, the New Year's Day on the lunar calendar, and finish on February 24.

 

Tickets will be available for people wishing to attend the fair on February 21, the Lantern Festival, but the fair will be free to visitors at other times.
