New Beijing-Urumqi Air Route to Be Opened
Air China will run a regular air route linking Beijing with Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region beginning Oct. 28, Beijing Daily reported Saturday.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, a Boeing 767 will leave Beijing at 12:30, returning from Urumqi at 17:30.

At present, there is only one direct flight linking the two cities.
