Three days in Ming jail and Guangsheng Temple

The two sites are in Hongdong County, Shanxi Province.

Guangsheng Temple is famous for its long history and religious relics.

The temple is Taoist.

Su San Jail is a relic left from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The original layout remains.

Day 1: Take train route K703 at Beijing West Railway Station at 18:38 and get to Hongdong County after 12 hours. It costs 166 yuan (US$20) for a hard sleeping berth. Then change to bus route No 3 to Su San Jail and Dahuaishu Park. Stay in Hongdong at night. Lingquan Hotel is near Guangsheng Temple. The cost is 50 yuan (US$6) per person in a two-bed room.

Day 2: visit Guangsheng Temple.

Ticket cost: 16 yuan (US$2) for Guangsheng Temple and 30 yuan (US$3.6) for a guide; 10 yuan (US$1.2) for Su San Jail and 20 yuan (US$2.4) for a guide.
