At present, every preparation work has entered the final stage. Mountain skiing zone, ice and snow entertainment zone, animal zone, flying sightseeing zone and comprehensive service zone have begun to receive tourists.

The theme for this ice and snow festival is going into the nature. The main entertainment activities include mountain skiing, ice and snow entertainment, shooting and flying sightseeing. Three spotlights include ice and snow scenery, night skiing and delicacies. Four sightseeing activities include animal, snow sculpture, ice and snow competitions and man-made snow. It is believed that the year 2004 China Shenyang Ice and Snow Festival will bring people with fun and joy, and will set up the brand for Shenyang's ice and snow tourism.
