New Tourism Rules to Go into Effect in Shanghai

The Shanghai Tourism Administrative Commission said yesterday that a new tourism regulation, the first of its kind in the city, will go into effect on March 1.

According to the regulation, tourism agencies must sign formal contracts with consumers, clearly mark prices, and secure tourists from danger and disease.
