Dragonair, Air China Sign Code-sharing Pact

Dragonair says it has signed a code-sharing agreement with Air China for flight services between Hong Kong and four Chinese cities, increasing its mainland destinations to 21.

The four cities covered in the pact, which took effect from this week, are Chengdu and Chongqing in southwest China and Dalian and Tianjin in north China.

The Hong Kong-based carrier believes the agreement will strengthen its unique China mainland service and expands the number of flight options available to customers.

The pact is the Hong Kong-based airline's second code-sharing agreement with a mainland carrier.

The first one was with China Southern Airlines last December, which added the southern city of Guangzhou to Dragonair's network.
