China, Kenya Sign Tourism MOU

The China National Tourism Administration and the Kenya Tourist Board Tuesday signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the implementation plan for organized group travel by Chinese citizens to Kenya.

 

The signing of the MOU indicated the implementation phase of eight African nations which gained Approved Destination Status from the Chinese government at the end of last year. Besides Kenya,the other seven nations are expected to sign similar MOUs with China in the future.

 

Experts said the signing of the MOU will enhance friendship of Chinese and African people, enable Chinese citizens to know more about Africa and promote mutual exchanges of tourists.
