Thailand Tops Chinese Travelers' Complaint List

Last year, complaints from Chinese tourists traveling overseas mainly concentrated on destinations in Southeast Asia, with Thailand and Hong Kong heading the list.

Many tourists say they paid for everything in advance at home, but when they went to Thailand they had to pay for tour guides.

Another complaint is that prices of electric appliances in Hong Kong are high, but the quality is low.

60 percent of tourists say travel agencies provide services that are inferior to those described in their glossy brochures.
