Int'l Exhibition on Ancient Arts of Asia Held in New York

An exhibition featuring Ancient arts of Asia was held in New York, March 30, 2004. Of more than a thousand treasures of art on display, some one third came from China. This picture shows a  Chinese Buddha statue of the early 11th century.

 

  A pair of vases dating back to the reigns of Emperor Kangxi(Qing Dynasty).

A UK company sold out a Chinese costume of 18th century at the price of US$45000.

                     An Indian Buddha statue of 11th century.

                    A Chinese Buddha statue of the early 15th century.
