Egyptian Culture Week Opens in China

An Egyptian Culture Show has opened in eight Chinese cities around the country.

It is the largest Egyptian cultural exhibition in China since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1956.

The two-week-long event is held in cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Dalian and Guangzhou.

Visitors can enjoy ancient and modern Egyptian culture as well other many other exhibits displaying the country's dynamic features.

In addition, a series of world-renowned Symphonies will be performed by the Cairo Symphony Orchestra, and Beijing and Hangzhou will screen films like The Mummy during their Egyptian Movie Week.

Egypt previously held a Chinese Culture Week in 2002.
