China has 56 ethnic groups and every group has its own culture. In Liaoning, the Manchu ethnic group culture blooms splendidly. On 29th, Shenyang will meet its first Manchu Ethnic Group Folk Custom Festival.

The first Manchu Ethnic Group Folk Custom Festival of Shenyang will be celebrated in the Manchu folk custom village in Lixiang Town, Dongling District, Shenyang. It is one of the theme-activities of Shenyang's Qing Dynasty's Culture festivals.

In the folk custom village, you can see that the Manchu Ethnic Group Museum has been repaired, where you can learn about the Manchu People's history, production and living situation as well as their folk arts. Traditional local Manchu style dwelling houses are restored to their former looks exactly.  While those horse racing and arrow shooting activities will let people find the sense in the battlefield in the year of Nuerhachi. 

Wedding culture is an important part in the Manchu ethnic group cultural. By then, the sponsor will present a grand wedding ceremony of Manchu ethnic group. In addition, this folk custom festival will also arrange the national mask exhibition, visiting calligraphy forest of steles and tasting the folk refreshments activities etc.
