CPC Leader Urges Study, Implementation of "Three Represents"
Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Thursday called for a down-to-earth approach to the new wave of study of the important thought of Three Represents.

Liu, also member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, stressed unity of thinking and action in the study and implementation of the thought, under the guidance of the important speech given on July 1 by Hu Jintao, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, on the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the Party's founding.

Liu made the remarks at the closing of a high-level symposium on the "Three Represents" thought Thursday.

Liu also highlighted the importance of the new round of study of the "Three Represents", saying it is significant for upholding and developing Marxism, building a well-off society, making the CPC better dedicated to the interests of the public and government for the people's benefit. He urged Party members to combine theory with practice in the study campaign.
