Bernoe Island, Indonesia [huanqiu.com]

8. Indonesian Bernoe Island is the world's third larges island. About 50 percent of the island is covered by primitive forests. And various rare wildlife live in the mysterious tropical forests.

As the excessive tree felling, expanding of palm plantations and the construction of roads, the tropical forests are shrinking. The global climate change also results in the extinction of local flora and the spreading of malaria. The high and dry temperature also increase the danger of forest fire.
