An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale jolted Pakistan at 1736 GMT on Tuesday (0136 on Wednesday at local time), the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 28.4 degrees north latitude and 66.42 degrees east longitude.
