5.3-magnitude quake hits Santa Cruz Islands

An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted Santa Cruz Islands at 15:14:35 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.00 km, was initially determined to be at 11.1606 degrees south latitude and 165.8435 degrees east longitude.
