Conservation films raise biodiversity awareness
Adjust font size:

Three short films on conservation efforts in China have been shown at the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in 798 Art District, as part of the Biodiversity Campaign Week 2009.

They were China at Crossroads by famous Bristish conservationist John MacKinnon, Forest China by producer Chen Xiaoqing and a TV program clip from Green Space on CCTV 10.

The week-long event was organized by the EU-China Biodiversity Program, in partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature Countdown 2010, Global Village of Beijing and Wildlife Conservation Society. The aim of this annual event is to raise awareness about biodiversity conservation issues. The theme for 2009 is "invasive species".
