Adjust font size:

Introduction

More and more people in Shanghai want a greener way of life and the Eco Design Fair is a great starting point. It is a groundbreaking event to raise awareness of environmental issues and to help make it easier for everyday people to make everyday sustainable lifestyle choices.

The fair is the only place in Shanghai to see and buy well-designed, environmentally aware products in one place. Products from over 30 eco-conscious businesses and groups include organic clothing, home accessories, furniture, natural beauty products, stationary, toys, building materials, organic food products plus more information on developing a more sustainable lifestyle.

Apart from the marketplace, interactive workshops, ecoFashion Show, ecoSilent Auction, Greening Your Home Exhibit, Ecodesign Student Competition Exhibition and ecoKIDS corner will be taking place throughout the day.

Net proceeds from the Spring 2009 ecoSilent Auction will be donated to Shanghai Roots & Shoots and their Million Tree Program in Inner Mongolia. From the proceeds of the Fall 2008 ecoRaffle, 120 trees were donated to Roots & Shoots.
