Press Conference Invitation

The 2nd Pujiang Innovation Forum, to be held on the 24th &25th of October, 2009 in Shanghai, is co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology and Shanghai Municipal Government and it is a high-level international forum dedicated to academic research on innovation strategies and policies.

Building off from the success of the 1st Pujiang Innovation Forum, this year’s event will have a major focus on Economic Globalization & Innovation. The event will bring together about 40 well-known experts, scholars and government officials from around the world to conduct wide and in-depth discussions on hot, thorny and key issues of building innovation-oriented countries such as Financial Crisis and New Patterns of Global Competition, Innovation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises under the Economic Fluctuation, Globalization of Research and Development and its Influence, Typical Experience of the Technological Breakthrough in Industries of Newly-rising Industrialized Countries as well as Measures to Boost Development through Innovation.

To further develop Pujiang Innovation Forum as a communication platform and to attract more attention on innovation, the Organizing Committee will host the Press Conference for the forum at 14:00-15:30 on the 9th of September, 2009 at No 6 Hong Yun Room at Beijing Xiyuan Hotel.
