Dengue fever case confirmed in HK

Hong Kong Center for Health Protection confirmed Wednesday this year's seventh case of Dengue fever involving a 26-year-old man who came from Surinam.

He came down with bone pain, myalgia and malaise on March 26 and fever on March 28. He was admitted to the hospital March 29 and was discharged Tuesday in stable condition.

His home contacts in Hong Kong are asymptomatic, the center said.
