A/H1N1 flu cases hits 356 on Chinese mainland

China confirmed 28 new A/H1N1 flu cases Saturday, bringing the total on the mainland to 356 with no fatalities.

Southern economic powerhouse Guangdong Province reported seven new cases while the capital Beijing confirmed six from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Saturday, the Ministry of Health said in a statement.

Financial hub Shanghai reported five new cases and Zhejiang reported four. Jiangsu and Fujian each confirmed two, while Hainan and Anhui each confirmed one.

Of all patients, 185 have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, according to the statement.
