Sudan offers donation to China's quake-hit area

Mirhgani, the Sudanese Ambassador to China, donated 250,000 US dollars in Beijing on Wednesday to China's quake-hit area on behalf of the Sudanese government.

Chinese Foreign Ministry officials received the cheque.

According to a Foreign Ministry source, Sudanese living and working in south China donated 85,000 yuan (about 12,150 U.S. dollars) to the quake area previously. The Beijing office of the Khartoum Refinery Co. Ltd has also offered 50,000 yuan.
