UN chief calls for stronger partnership with China

Visiting UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in Beijing that the United Nations hopes to see China make bigger contribution in world affairs and establish a stronger partnership with the country.

Ban made the remarks when holding talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi on Wednesday morning.
