Venezuelan President wraps up China visit

Venezuelan President Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias wrapped up his three-day state visit to China and left Beijing on Thursday afternoon.

This is Chavez's fifth China visit since he was elected president in 1998.

During the visit, Chinese President Hu Jintao held talks with him. Top legislator Wu Bangguo and Vice Premier Li Keqiang met with him.

The two countries also signed a series of deals on wide-ranging fields,covering trade, oil, finance, education, justice, telecommunications, infrastructure, sports and cultural relics.
