Chinese top legislator wraps up African tour

Chinese top legislator Wu Bangguo on Friday concluded his official visit to Seychelles and headed back home.

Seychellois President James Alix Michel, Vice President Joseph Belmont, Speaker of the National Assembly Patrick Herminie and all cabinet members went to the airport to bid farewell to Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), and congratulated his successful visit.

Wu arrived here Wednesday after he concluded an official visit to Madagascar. Seychelles was the final leg of his five-nation Africa tour that also took him to Algeria, Gabon and Ethiopia.
