Adjust font size:

Chinese President Hu Jintao meets with Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda on December 28, 2007. Fukuda's visit, three months after he took office, is the first to China by a Japanese prime minister since Shinzo Abe visited Beijing last October. The two countries also agree that Hu will visit Japan next year "in a cherry blossom spring". It will be the first visit by a Chinese president after 10 years.
