China presents Sweden 1st Confucius statue

A statue of Chinese philosopher and educator Confucius presented by the government of east China's Shandong Province to the Nordic Confucius Institute is unveiled at Stockholm University in Stockholm, Sweden, December 3, 2008. The two-meter high statue, with Confucius' life engraved on its base, is the first Confucius statue presented by China to Sweden. [Wu Ping/Xinhua]
