President Obama pardons White House turkey
奥巴马感恩节前赦火鸡

Americans have been sending the President turkeys for the holidays since at least the 19th century. The White House says Abraham Lincoln may have been the first to decide to let a turkey live, and George H.W. Bush gave the first formal presidential pardon in 1989. [Zhang Jun/Xinhua]
