Be my little babi
Adjust font size:

After a year at its Gongti location, Babi Club has undergone a massive overhaul of its design.

The Sichuan-based brand brings something new to the Worker's Stadium West Gate this time round: a dancefloor. While most of the Chinese clubbing megaplex's are big on VIP rooms and Chiva's laden tables, Babi Club finally offers Beijing's clubbers the opportunity to move their feet while grooving to the beat.

Its decor, which in some places looks like Kubrick's 2001, stands out from the jagged metallic edges of most of its neighbors as well. The real treat, however, is Babi's stadium booths that overlook its dance floor and DJ booth (free during the week with a 600 minimum on weekends), but you can still get a private VIP room for 1200.

Location: No.8 Gongti Xilu

(City Weekend January 15, 2008)
