Olympic flame arrives in Buenos Aires

The Olympic flame of the Beijing Games has arrived in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina in South America.

 

The Olympic flame of the Beijing Games has arrived in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina in South America.

The Olympic flame arrived at 17:00 local time Thursday at Ezeiza international airport from San Francisco. Held by BOCOG Executive Vice President Liu Jinming, the Olympic Flame was welcomed at the airport. Liu Jinming and ANOC First President Alicia Masoni de Morea displayed the lantern to the public. The torch relay on Friday will include 80 people in its 13.8 km tour throughout the city.

Buenos Aires is the seventh stop in the flame's world tour.
