China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), with the objective to better exploit trade and investment opportunities through connectivity, is anticipated to profoundly contribute to the fields of energy, transportation and the infrastructure developments in Pakistan. The transformation of the previous slow moving economy of Pakistan will automatically bring insightful prosperity to the lives of common Pakistani citizens. Despite the looming campaigns against the CPEC, Pakistan and China have strongly vowed their firmness in meeting any challenge to bring the long cherished dream into reality.

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is considered a game changer for the whole region. The trade and transportation route from Kashgar to Gawadar is an opportunity for landlocked Afghanistan and other Central Asian countries to access the easiest trade route and claim their due share through the export of their goods to the international market.

The smooth economic, political and strategic rise of China is in no way achieved at the expense of deceiving or opportunist policies. The policies based upon the notions of mutual trust, mutual respect and collective efforts for common development have today resulted in growing opportunities for the rest of the world.
