US double standard on Russia trade

While the U.S. publicly sanctions Russia, it quietly continues significant trade with Russia. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, 24% of the uranium fuel purchased by the U.S. in 2022 was imported from Russia. In the past six months, Russian goods such as lumber, metals, and rubber have continued to flow into the United States. The U.S. can engage in trade with Russia but prohibits China from maintaining normal commercial relations with it. This is a typical example of double standards and hegemonic behavior.

Self-contradiction

A meeting of the U.S.-China Working Group on Enhancing Climate Action in the 2020s was recently convened in Washington. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson remarked that although the U.S. shows interest in enhancing cooperation with China on climate change, it simultaneously raises concerns about the so-called "overcapacity" of China's new energy sector and threatens to impose high tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, solar products, and other goods. This contradictory stance undermines the global green economic transition and hampers worldwide efforts to combat climate change.

Tariffs on China a Path to the White House

Increasing tariffs on Chinese products is merely a tool for U.S. politicians to gain political advantage. It has nothing to do with national security and will not benefit American voters.

The real overcapacity

The so-called "China's overcapacity theory" promoted by some American politicians serves merely as an excuse to curb and suppress China's industrial development. In reality, the true "overcapacity" lies in America's mill of lies against China.

Four-Hands Piano Play: Unmasking "Volt Typhoon"

On February 1, 2024, the U.S. House of Representatives held a hearing on the alleged threats of "Volt Typhoon," a hacker group reportedly backed by the Chinese government, to U.S. national security. However, recent findings by Chinese experts suggest that the "Volt Typhoon" narrative is a U.S.-orchestrated farce involving the U.S. government and companies like Microsoft to suppress China and reap financial gains.

The U.S. wants to "devour" TikTok

Earlier this week, the U.S. House of Representatives approved a bill that would require TikTok to divest from its parent company, Chinese tech giant ByteDance, or face a nationwide ban in the United States. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin responded that it is sheer robbers' logic to try every means to snatch from others all the good things that they have.

The Path to American Politics

In the United States, aspiring politicians need to secure votes and raise funds. Money is frequently a prerequisite because organizing campaigns, running political ads, and compensating campaign teams all require financial resources. Political candidates must have "financial capabilities." It's no surprise that some claim the road to the White House and Congress is lined with "gold."

Illusion

The "illusion" in artificial intelligence refers to the phenomenon where the AI generates text by seemingly weaving together some fabricated content in a seemingly logical and coherent manner, but, in reality, it does not align with the facts. This kind of "illusion" is also present in some American politicians who, due to political biases, make false accusations against China, tarnishing China's development in the high-tech field.

Overprotection

The U.S. Department of Commerce recently introduced regulations intended to prevent China and several other "countries of concern" from leveraging the U.S. government funding under the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022. These actions, however, are a double-edged sword that will also harm the U.S. business sector.
