South Korean judokas stormed over their rivals all by ippon to sweep three gold medals at the Asian Games on Saturday, while the sport's traditional power Japan managed one gold by decision.

South Korean Jeong Gyeong Mi beat Japanese Akari Ogata to take the women's 78kg event as Chinese Yang Xiuli and Kazakhstan's Galiva Ulmentayeva shared the bronze.

Jeong's compatriot Hwang Hee Tae defeated Japanese Takamasa Anai by ippon to take the men's 100kg class.

Maxim Rakov of Kazakhstan and Ramziddin Sayidov of Uzbekistan got the bronze

South Korean Kim Soo Whan won the men's over-100kg title after beating Abdullo Tangriev of Uzbekistan by ippon.

Iran's Mohammad Rodaki and Japan's Daiki Kamikawa shared the third place.

Reigning world champion Mika Sugimoto defeated China's Qin Qian in the women's over-78kg final.

The Japanese won on a "hantei" decision to make it three wins out of three over Qin, having beaten the Chinese in the over-78 final and the open weight class at the world championships in Tokyo in September.
