Lee Daemyung of South Korea rallied to beat local favourite Tan Zongliang to claim the team's second Guangzhou Asiad shooting gold on Sunday.

Lee led the the South Korean team to the first title on the team event, but Tan made a same score as Lee. Lee got a bad start of the final, he made a 7.9 at the first shot, while Tan scored 9.9 to establish a comfortable two-point lead.

Lee fought back afterwards, making straight 10-plus shots to bridge the gap. Tan kept a stable form, none of his shots was below 9.5, but Lee's performance was even better.

Lee never gave Tan a chance to move back to the first place. The 22-year-old Lee finally brought back the gold with 685.8 points. Tan took the second place with 684.5, and India's Vijay Kumar secured the bronze with 680.4.

Kumar staged an amazing show in the final by getting a medal from the last place of the final. He made eight of his total 10 shots above 10.0, getting 101.4 in the final to be ranked as the third.
