Former NBA players Stephon Marbury and Yi Jianlian are the top ballot choices in fan voting for the 2014 CBA (Chinese Basketball Association) All-Star Game, the league's official website cbachina.com announced on Monday.

Marbury, who is recovering from knee injury, has the top vote total at 847,868. He is averaging 18 points and 5.5 assists a game this season as Beijing Ducks are ranked 3rd in the league.

The CBA All-Star game features five star players from the North and South divisions respectively, with the starting lineup being selected by a fan ballot. The reserves will be chosen by the head coaches of the two sides.

Yi Jianlian of Guangdong South China Tigers is second overall and leading the South division at 822,544 votes. The former NBA New Jersey Nets forward will be joined by teammates Zhu Fangyu (661,650 votes) and Wang Shipeng (663,793 votes) in the starting lineup.

Marbury will be backed by teammate Sun Yue, who earned 585,714 votes, as the starting guard of the North division.

The CBA All-Star Weekend is set to be held on January 18 and 19 at the MasterCard Center in Beijing, and is the first time that the event is being held during a CBA regular season since 1995.
