Borussia Dortmund completed the signing of Torino striker Ciro Immobile, both clubs confirmed in an official statement on Monday.
Dortmund continue to reinforce their squad with the signing of Italian Serie A top scorer Ciro Immobile, who put pen to paper on a five year deal until June 2019.
"With the signing of Ciro Immobile we get a flexible and dynamic player who established himself in one of Europe's top league in an impressive way. His outstanding qualities fit perfectly into our requirement profile," Dortmund director of sport Michael Zorc said.
The 24-year-old striker scored 22 goals in 33 appearances to help Torino finish seventh in Italy's top flight. His current performances earned him a berth in the Italian national team for the World Cup.
Dortmund had already signed Adrian Ramos after Robert Lewandowski joined league rivals and German record champions Bayern Munich.
Both clubs agreed to keep silence over further contract details. His new club completed the last season on second place of the Bundesliga standings to clinch a berth in UEFA Champions League for next season.
