China's northwestern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will host the 10th Women's Table Tennis World Cup from September 29 to October 1 in its capital city Urumqi.

The Women's World Cup, which is ranked as one of the top-class table tennis tournaments, will feature champions from continent competitions and top 16 players on the world rankings. Chinese Olympic and world champions Wang Nan and Zhang Yining will compete in the tournament.

China has been crowned in the World Cup for seven times since the event made its debut in 1996 in China's Hong Kong.
