Located in the Jingyue district of Changchun City, Jilin Agricultural University is a key university under the administration of Jilin Province with fascinating scenery. Founded in 1948, it runs 14 schools, 56 undergraduate majors, 51 postgraduate majors and 17 doctorate majors. It also has two key experiment labs of the Ministry of Education, one national key experiment base, six provincial key experiment labs and eight scientific innovation centers. In addition, it has many superb facilities, worth a total of 162 million yuan (US$ 24,933,173).
It also has advanced teaching and research facilities in addition to first class teachers, including one Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 50 teachers who enjoy the state council’s special allowance and 510 who have Senior Professional and Technical Titles. The university also places great emphasis on international cooperation and exchanges and has established cooperative ties with many universities and research institutes worldwide.
