Hisence continued to be the most popular TV set brand in China in 2011, according to the Top 10 TV Set Brands Ranking published by China Market Monitor Co., Ltd. in February this year.
The list shows that this is the eighth time for Hisence to claim the title, as its market share in the country during last year reached 14.77 percent, followed by Skyworth with a market occupancy rate of 12.78 percent and Changhong of 11.76 percent.
Among this year's top 10 brands, six are domestic companies, which occupy almost 60 percent of the domestic TV set market.
The data was collected from 5,932 stores in 746 cities and counties all over the country, according to the China Market Monitor Co., Ltd., a Beijing-based marketing research services provider which mainly focuses on consumer goods, retail and services industries.
