Confucius Institute at the University of Yaounde II is one of the 'Top 30 Confucius Institutes in 2011' by China.org.cn

Confucius Institute at the University of Yaounde II, Cameroon [news.66wz.com] 

The Confucius Institute at the University of Yaounde II, the first Confucius Institute in Africa, creates the model of "One Institute with Multiple Teaching Centers". Now it has 9 teaching centers, including the center certified to offer a Chinese language degree education at the University of Maroua. In 2011, it had nearly 6,000 registered students, which is the highest among all African Confucius Institutes. In addition, it has organized 27 activities, attracting over 200,000 people. In order to celebrate the institution’s enhancement of friendship between China and Cameroon, the President of Cameroon awarded a "Presidential Knight Medal" to Ms.Zhang Xiaozhen, its former Chinese Director, in April 2011.

Confucius Institute at Ristumeikan University is one of the 'Top 30 Confucius Institutes in 2011' by China.org.cn

Confucius Institute at Ristumeikan University, Japan [hanban.edu.cn] 

Being awarded as one of the top Confucius Institutes in 2007 and 2008, it has played a very important role in strengthening the relationship between China and Japan, as well as in promoting the Chinese language and culture. Now it has 6 Chinese language teaching centers and offers 207 classes, including legal translation, business Chinese, and Chinese for children, with an enrollment of 2,200 people. It has invited several famous Japanese to be its advisers, including former Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda.
