University of Cambridge is one of the most ancient and distinguished universities in the world. Established in 1209, it is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world (after the University of Oxford), and the seventh-oldest one in the world. Today, there are around 18,000 students at the university, including over 3,500 international students from over 120 different countries. In 2011, Cambridge ranks first at the QS World University Rankings, and sixth in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
