Liujiazhai Neolithic Site [chinanews.com]

Located in Jinchuan County of Sichuan Province, the Liujiazhai Neolithic Site can be traced back to the late Neolithic Age. Covering an area of 3,500 square meters, the site hosts a large amount of pottery, animal bones and stone products. The abundant relics exceeded other excavated sites of the same time in western China.

As the site is located in the upper reaches of the Daduhe River, it offers new materials for research on culture exchange and communication of the Hengduan Mountain region.
