Popular travel website Tripadvisor recently listed the 25 most amazing and popular landmarks in the country in 2013, as favored by travelers.
All of the landmarks listed here stand at the top of their kind. Some of them feature America's most amazing natural scenery; others are famous for their extraordinary architectural designs.
St. Paul's Chapel, New York
Located at 209 Broadway in New York City, St. Paul's Chapel is the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan. Its construction features a simple and elegant hall, a classical portico, boxy proportions and exquisite details. It now also serves as a site for public events including exhibitions, weekday concerts and occasional lectures, as well as providing a shelter for the homeless.
