Brooklyn Bridge [Xinhua]

Brooklyn Bridge, also known as East River Bridge, was the longest suspension bridge in the world when it was completed in 1883, with a span of 486.3 meters. It connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. In 1964 it was designated as a National Historic Landmark.
