Salary: $2,738,060

As a coach since 1991, Louis van Gaal was formerly manager of Ajax, Barcelona, AZ and Bayern Munich. From 2000 to 2002 he returned to the Netherlands to manage the Dutch national team in preparation for the 2002 FIFA World Cup. In 2014 he was chosen to coach the Netherlands for the second time and led the team into the semifinal, losing to Argentina in a 2-4 penalty shootout.
