Population: 65 million

The Greater Pearl River Delta urban agglomeration is composed of nine major cities in Guangdong Province, as well as Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions. Centering on Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, it is the most dynamic of China’s three largest urban agglomerations with the highest urbanization rate.
