The facility was developed for Uster City in 2011 as a prototype for the public toilets which were expected to be installed in the city over the next few years. It consists of folded aluminum strips which form various reflective angles on the walls, in combination with the slightly different colors of single strips, generate a shimmering effect that changes depending on the location of the sun as well as the position of the observer.
