Liuliqu village is located on the west bank of the Yongding River, Mentougou district. Liuliqu village is best known as the hometown of liuli, an ancient type of Chinese glass or crystal. Liuliqu village, the "Hometown of Chinese Royal Liuli," was named in the third batch of Chinese historical and cultural villages.

The village preserves a large-scale glaze factory house, Beijing's only Qing dynasty overpass with a yellow glazed roof, the Wanyuan Tongshan tea shed, and several ancient roads.
