Late afternoon sunlight streams into the lower hall of Daluo Gong. Each story houses statues of different Taoist deities, the most important of which are the three creator gods whose massive statues can be found on the second floor of the temple. Those interested in Taoist philosophy should also explore the first floor of the temple, the walls of which are decorated with gold-inscribed wooden panels reproducing the Dao De Jing, Daoism's key text. Translations in several languages also appear throughout the hall.
